Staff Cabinet Add-on

This add-on was developed to let your staff members manage their bookings without access to WordPress admin panel.

Once your staff member is logged in, he or she will be able to enter the Staff Cabinet and see the Bookly calendar and profile on the front-end.

Every staff member will have the possibility to manage their own calendar, view and update details, manage services, prices, schedule, days off and special days, as well as export their calendar information into a CSV file.

Setup

1. Purchase, download, install and activate add-on in Plugins.

2. Enter the purchase code on Bookly Settings page.

3. In the page editor, you will see Add Staff Cabinet button. When you press this button, the shortcode will be generated and inserted into the editor.

4. In the drop-down list, you will see the list of possible options for adding. Select the properties you want to be displayed and set limitations if needed.

5. Once the add-on is set up, your staff members will be able to view and manage their calendars right after authentication on the front-end.

Setting limitations

After the Staff Cabinet add-on is installed, the website administrator can set visibility limitations for team members while editing a page. This way, staff members will be able to view, work with and update only those profile elements which they have permission and access to.

    Hi there,

We just added the Staff Cabinet addon to Bookly. Everything seems to work except for a black overlay that pops up when a staff member tries to make changes to their appointments. The staff member has a WP account set as editor.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Front-end Days Off is showing an error
    TypeError: response.data is undefined staff-days-off.js:15:21

Response is geting : 'Bookly: You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.',

If you log in with an admin account, could you see the calendar of all staff members like in back-end? This functionality is very important because I am using Bookly for a Rental Space Company. For me, Staff members are space to book instead, so i need some place in Front-end to show all spaces.
If it is not possible, i am thinking to implement that part.

    Thank you in advance.

Hi, can the staff member see his list of appointments ? Or just the calender?

That feature is extremly critical for us to guarantee the continuous processing of incoming appointment requests by the employee itself.

    Thanks in advance

Hi Leif, staff members have access only to the calendar. Currently, staff members don't have access to the appointments list menu.

    Hi,

I may have misunderstood in the descriptions of this Add-on, prior to purchasing it.

    This is IMPORTANT

We need at least ONE of the users to be able to see and edit ANY of the schedules and appointments, as well as print out appointment schedules and so forth.

It is CRITICAL that this user does NOT have access to the backend of Wordpress, as they are every likely to destroy the entire site while doing their basic work in the bookings.

So - HOW can we provide one user with complete access to the booking Calendar, in addition to all appointments for EVERY staff member?

We have already purchased the plugin, and it works for basic functions of a single staff member only - there does not appear to be ANY option for one user to have access to Global appointments/scheduling, which is what was noted in the Code Canyon description, that there were "user roles" that could be applied.

    Thank you in advance.

Hi, these features are not supported. This add-on was designed only for staff members, administrators don't have access to the staff cabinet. Currently, only Admin users have full access to Bookly. If you want to give full access to Bookly, though not to the whole dashboard you’ll need some third-party plugins, it will work only for the back-end. You can check this one: http://adminmenueditor.com/

Hi.. Would be nice to have some short links generator in here on website because since we use Gutenberg so adding the short codes is not easy. Thx.

Hi, when a member of staff updates there calendar by adding a new appointment will it update the main bookly calendar in the admin panel?

Im guessing a staff member can add a new appointment because the demo lets you click on a day but it doesn't say so in the description.

how does a staff member log out?

My first issue is this (and it is very similar to an issue I am having with the CUSTOMER cabinet plugin for which I am still waiting for a reply so I am guessing there is some kind of a bug in the cabinet coding someplace? Anyway....

I have created a WP user account for one of my staff and have assigned the role "Editor". Now that I have done that, I am able to log in ok but if I try to alter anything, my entire screen goes gray and I am not allowed to do anything. Any help would be great.

Just like Colin and Marc Croteau, with the staff calendar cabinet I have a grey overlay preventing the staff member from editing any calendar appointments. Neither the role of "Editor" nor "Administrator" permit the staff member's user the ability to modify a calendar entry, however they can edit their schedule, services, and details.
