Details collaborative services for employee in Google Calendar

Hi,

I'm using Collaborative Services to allow the combined use of a practice room with my employees. Because it is not possible for different employees to have different rates, I've had to double all the services for different employees. This is annoying, but manageable. I use general, hidden services to book employees in collaborative services. The category they are in is called 'hidden massages'.

What is annoying is that when an an employee is booked through a collaborative service, in their calendar in Google I can only make mention of "hidden massages" - 45 minutes, where I want the employee see the category the customer chose, for instance 'relaxation massage'. The latter information is of significance for my employees, the first isn't.

Would this be possible? So that the message, the mail and the google calendar entry would show the choice of the customer, instead of the hidden category the service is in?

And I still would like it if collaborative services would allow for different rates for different employees.

  • Hello Jaco,

Thanks for your feedback. Do you mean that your collaborative service has a separate category and you would like to display the category of this collaborative service in Google Calendar instead of the single service category booked within the complex service?

  • Yes. Better still would be to display the collaborative service in the Google Calendar of employees instead of the single service, which is in my case a hidden service with no information for the employee.

  • Hello Jaco,

The Dev team is trying to find a solution for this case. Some solutions are not technically possible.

There is a potential option to make an additional placeholder (code), which will indicate the parent service name, if there is any. For example, if the service is part of a collaborative, then this replacement code will display the name of the collaborative service. Please let us know if this solution will suit you.

  • Yeah, that would be perfect. I was wondering: when a client receives an e-mail or SMS of a confirmed service it contains the collaborative service as well, doesn’t it? How is that text parsed? Could I use the same for the messages to my crew?
