Appointments Showing but no deposit/payment taken

Hello,

I only allow paid appointments for my clients but if a prospective client abandons the booking process in the payment option, Bookly creates the appointment with a "pending" status.

I have the Time interval option on in Settings - Payments for every 1 hour.

However:

- The appointment shows in Bookly system as rejected after the hour - good.

- The appointment slot is now available for another client to book after the hour - good.

- The appointment shows in the staff member calendar as if they have an appointment booked.

Please let me know if I'm missing a setting.

How do I ensure that if an appointment is not paid and after the hour this is also automatically removed from the Google Calendar of the staff member?

    Currently, rejected bookings are not automatically removed from the calendar. Our team is actively addressing this matter by developing an automated solution.

    I am seeing the same issue. Pending appointments mean the reserved slot is held for at least an hour if no payment is made. This seems like a long time.

    Has this issue being resolved?

    Would using the Stripe payments add-on make any difference to this? Or would it just be the same problem, ie it would reserve the appointment as pending before the customer completes payment?

  • I use Mollie and have the same problem - 1 hour is way too long
