For the client to be able to change the date and time of an appointment but not cancel it altogether.

    Does a staff member can have access to his/her calendar and also the appointment file??

    Staff members that have WP user accounts have access to the calendar and their profile.

    If by appointment file you mean the exported file with appointments, then they don't have access to it. Though they can see only their appointments in the calendar.

    This is asking for more abilities in the customers view of their appointments, at present a customer can view and cancel an appointment but they can't amend the booking date or time.

    The ability to amend an appointment within a set period (48 hours before the date/time) would be a big plus.

    Allowing clients to change their appointments without canceling it is a MUST for us.

    My client absolutely needs to have the ability to reschedule appointments. When editing an entry in Appointments for a particular customer, a change made there moves ALL other customers in that time slot with them to their new time. That does not work at all for users like my client who has large capacities in each time slot. If 10 people are booked in a session and 1 needs to reschedule, it makes no sense for the other 9 to go with them!

    The Edit Appointment dialog from the Calendar view and the Appointments section could be different so that the individuals appointments listed in the latter affect only that time slot. Rescheduling options would be an enormous help.

    This would help a lot, since it would take the work of having to refund someone if they decided to cancel their appointment. ^^

    Please add this feature for clients to directly reschedule their appointments without canceling.

    Another option would be to have cancelations automatically add store credit in the purchase amount so the client could book again. However, since we sell bundles of appointment hours, which would require a prorated refund depending on the package purchased, it might be simpler to simply allow clients to reschedule without rebooking by editing their appointment time directly.

    Cancelation doesn't sync with woocommerce payments and requires manual crediting or refunds, causing an administrative headache.

    Having just purchased this plugin it seems to be this is the greatest weakness in an otherwise really well thought through system. If a client cancels this spawns a whole lot of administrative work - refunds, possible manual rescheduling. The ability to re-schedule is a very important part of a booking system. 

    At the very least can we not have an option for an automatic refund on cancellation. 

    Please add my vote for this to be a priority in the development roadmap.

    Yes I am very surprised this feature is not present - it is surely vital to any appointment booking system that a client can re-schedule? Anyway, they can call me and I can re-schedule in the backend, but I'd rather they had the power and flexibility to do it themselves, Thanks

    Please add this feature. I thought it was already possible but without it, will really negate the idea of a good booking/scheduling system for our business.
