Service with fixed duration, but let patients choose the start time within a staff working hours.

Hi! We offer a service where 5 staff members working from 8am to 1pm perform a test on a patient. The test takes 3 hours. We had the staff working hours set from 8am to 11am and service duration configured as slot length as service duration (3h) - to make sure one staff member only gets one appointment on his shift per day. This way the step by step booking form was showing 8am as only availlable time to book the service. It worked great.

Now we want to let patients to choose wheter they want to schedule the appointment at 8.00, 8.30, 9.00, 9.30 and so on. But within the 8am - 1pm time range. So we changed the staff working hours to reflect the real 8am-1pm scheme and set the service duration to 3 hours but the time slot length to 30 minutes so the booking form would display the different time options to patients. Still only one 3 hour test fits into the 8am-1pm period.The outcome is quite unexpected. We have four patients booked for 8am, so there's still one available from 8 to 1pm, but the form shows the 8.00, 8.30 and 9.00 as unavailable. Is there anything we've done wrong?

  • Hello Krzysztof, please ensure that the remaining staff member doesn't have an appointment, break, day off at this time, or that the schedule isn't blocked by a Google Calendar event. If this doesn't resolve the issue, please create a support request here, and we'll investigate further.
