Bookly, Ultimate Membership Plugin & Elementor

Hi,

I'm using Bookly Pro on a website created using Elementor Pro. In order to provide a slick, consistent user experience (all login, logout and user account info is consistent with the rest of the website design), I'm using the Ultimate Membership plugin which provides a lot of flexibility to the standard Wordpress Users section.

New users can sign up, but I have to approve them before they can access the booking calendar. The 'approval' procedure consists of me, importing their details into the Bookly Customer list. This can be done via the use of the "Add Customer" box which opens to a drop down showing various options and WP User names. This only imports the names of the new WP User, and nothing else.

My question is this: How can I link the data fields between the collected WP User data and that taken into Bookly's Customer list? Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for any useful suggestions.

  • Hello there,

When creating a customer in the Customers section, Bookly automatically copies the name and email from the WordPress user card. If this information isn't being copied, it's possible that the names of the email or username fields were modified or customized through the Ultimate Membership plugin. Restoring the original field values should resolve the issue.

Regarding additional fields created in the WordPress user card (like phone or address) through Ultimate Membership, these won't be copied to the Bookly customer card as they aren't standard fields provided by WordPress, and Bookly doesn't recognize them. To make this work, custom development in Bookly would be required.

  • Thanks for the response. You have confirmed what I thought. Fortunately, how I manage my bookings only uses the customer name as the main reference point, and I can quickly manually copy over any of the data fields from Ultimate Membership to the Bookly fields where required. This is used when creating the text for Autogenerated email responses.
