Hi there,

we´ve set-up the bookly tool on our website and now we are trying to set-up conversion tracking for the whole customer journey. We would like to track every step our customers are taking in order to book an appointment. So far we managed to track the individual page views of our booking site via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics but we are stuggling with getting it to work on the single 'next step' buttons. We´ve already set-up the conversions for the buttons in GTM and GA correctly (trigger is the css selector code of the buttons) but the conversions wouldn´t show up in our GA. Maybe some of you guys came across the same issue or knows wich triggers will work with bookly.

Best wishes

Lisa

    Hi Lisa,

    Thanks for your message.

At this time, embedding a tracking code is not supported. However, we’re constantly working on improvements and value all feedback. That’s why we’ve created a Feature Request forum: https://ideas.booking-wp-plugin.com/.

There's a similar request for this feature recorded at https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/207690845-google-analytics

The forum is where we track requests for new capabilities, and our product development depends directly on the number of votes each request receives. That’s why we encourage Bookly users to either vote for the corresponding request above or record a request that best fits your business needs.

Perhaps this different angle would work for you. Alternatively, you can have a different URL for the confirmation page which would probably help you re-target people that have hit the booking page but did not make it through to the final confirmation page. You can set up the final URL in Settings: http://prntscr.com/n4j2dn.

If you have additional questions or concerns, please send us an email to support@bookly.info so we could look into this matter.

    Kind regards,

    Richel

    Hi Richel,

unfortunately i can´t open the links you´ve sent. Maybe it´s because I live in germany and the link is from the en/us support? I don´t want to embed the tracking code in the form, GTM ist already embedded on the whole website. Normally you can track buttons on GTM via CSS selector but for the buttons in the bookly tool it doesn´t seem to be working. It would be great if I could get access to the en/us community site. Thanks in advance.
