Past month we had several customers who used our booking-tool for an appointment. Like everybody they:
- Followed the steps in de form.
- Went to the payment gateway

There were two situations after payment:
- Most of them got a confirmation email, but the appointment did not appear in the calendar.
- Some did not get an email, the appointment also didn't appear in the calendar, but they DID pay for it.

These issues resulted in double booking of timeslots.

What can we do to prevent this?
