Hello,

This option is missing from the calendar and it would be quite useful for mobile businesses if customer is not home and they entered it while making booking.

{appointment_notes} - customer notes for appointment is visible under email notifications but not here. Please add.

It is such a simple task, I don't know why they haven't done it yet!

    In backend/modules/calendar/page.php

Around line 173 in the big select query, locate ca.units, and ca.custom_fields, and add ca.notes as appointment_notes, in between

    ca.units,
    ca.notes as appointment_notes,
    ca.custom_fields,

Then, further down, around line 214, add: , 'appointment_notes' after 'category_name'

    foreach ( array( 'staff_name', 'staff_phone', 'staff_info', 'staff_email', 'service_info', 'service_capacity', 'category_name'  , 'appointment_notes' )

You can now use {appointment_notes} in the calendar description!

Note: this was done on version 16.4 so line references might be different on another version. If you update your plugin you will lose the changes unless they include it in the next version! :)

Wow, if customer has the solution for it I wonder what's the hold up with the developer? Oh I know, its missing needed votes :)

Actually the code above does work for the calendar view in bookly but not for the Google Calendar template section which I think is the one you were trying to update. I needed that too... This is done in the Pro version plugin under:

    lib/notifications/Codes.php

Around line 290, somewhere in there, simply add a line in between 2 similar lines:

    '{appointment_notes}' => $this->appointment_notes,

Then you can use the shortcode in the customer section as well :)

Thanks! I hope they will implement this since its not that hard and is possible.

Overall this voting system for features is soo bad. Takes ages to find features you need and everyone just spam the features they want.

I am not sure, but I believe they're very busy on damage control rather than developing quality content and once in a while they spit out another add-on.

So many simple things are needed to perfect it. Hope they'll do that real soon.

This is definitely something we need. We are using the plugin for a mechanic store. The staff will be looking at the people booked in via their phone in google calendar. I have been told by support that we need to pay for the 'additional fields' add on to be able to do this. We don't need any fields other than notes, so it feels very unfair to have to pay for the ability for a function that is already there to simply show up on the google calendar.  They have said it requires more votes to be added as a feature.

Yea, same here. Their voting thing does not make any sense. Last week I got surgery from them asking if anyone would be interested in AI booking and yet they can't figure out or help customers with simple stuff.

Well we can't even have that feature by paying. It simple doesn't exist. It's seems so simple and yet it's not added. They're just mass producing "weird" plugins instead of polishing stuff so it works well. They overlook so many basic things, but rushing new technologies like AI booking.

I am just like... yes AI booking would be nice, but yet again... it won't be nice when it's rushed and only half of the functionality will be working, like all the other plugins/addons.
