Avoid gaps in Agenda
Is it possible to force the customer to choose only time slots that follow an already scheduled appointment?
This is to avoid gaps between different appointments each time.
For example, if an appointment is already booked from 9am to 10am, and the next customer makes an appointment from 9:30am to 10am I am left with a 30 min gap.

Do you mean that you want to restrict the users from booking any time slot on Time step? For example, if there is an appointment from 9 a.m. till 10 a.m., Time step only displays 10 a.m.
If so, I'm afraid such option is not supported. You can leave your request here: https://ideas.booking-wp-plugin.com/boards/feature-requests and if it gets enough votes, it might be implemented in the future release.
