Automate Waiting-List?
Does anyone know how to automate the waiting list add-on? I don't want to have to log in to the backend every time someone cancels a class booking, I just want the system to automatically allocate the slot to the next person on the waiting list and automatically message them to confirm this.
Is this possible?

I have to say, I’m confused that the waiting list plugin doesn’t work like a waiting list plugin. The whole idea is to automate things, not add more manual work. I can’t for the life of me understand why it wouldn’t automatically allocate a cancelled booking slot to the next person on the waiting list and let them know.
Are you 100% sure that I have to manually go in every time someone cancels a slot and allocate the slot myself to someone on the waiting list?
If so, isn’t this basically the same as not having a waiting list plugin, as people could just message to request a cancellation slot instead & it’s essentially the same amount of work to reallocate a slot?
Bear in mind we’re using this for classes. There are 30 slots per class. We could have 10 people cancel over the course of the week... per class! It really is a lot of work to have to manually allocate each and every single cancelled slot to someone else via the backend ourselves.
