Angry Customer Appointment Booking
We have an angry customer taking all of our appointment slots (in 20-minute increments) and leaving bogus names, email addresses, and phone numbers in protest of us having an appointment system rather than our old walk-in system. They're scheduling, like, 40 at a time that I have to manually delete. Since our stores need the verification notification turned off to book appointments for customers, I can't use that option. Does anyone know how or if I can block a person from booking multiple appointments from the same IP? I already have settings that prevent any customers from booking more than two appointments per day, but that doesn't work since they aren't using the same identifiers in the form that catches them as duplicates.Â

Hi Valerie,
Currently, there is no built-in feature in Bookly to prevent such behavior. But you can try the following:
1) Use a third-party plugin that will block access by IP. Please check this guide: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-block-ip-addresses-in-wordpress/
2) Set up the required payment or deposit amount for booking, so that they are not able to set an appointment for free.
Hope this helps.
