How do you disable the SMS verification in the free version. I have had no luck finding the answer in the forum threads?

Yes, sure. The verification code will be sent by email. If you don't need SMS option, you can disable it in SMS section:

Is it possible to leave the "only if data is different" and have the verification code sent by email?
How do I remove both email verification and sms verification?
