Waiting times during a service
Hi, I plan to use Bookly for some hair salons.
My customers have some services (such as hair coloring) that last for 2 hours, for example. During these two hours, however, there is only active work on the customer for the first 30 minutes, then the customer has to wait 1 hour, and then work on the customer again for 30 minutes and the service ended.
So while the customer waits 60 minutes for the hair color to be absorbed, additional customers could be served.
How can you realize such a scenario with Bookly?
Thanks.

Hello,
Thank you for your message.
Bookly is an ultimate online appointment scheduling and service booking solution for almost any business that sells services. We advise you to generate your personal demo version which goes with almost all additional add-ons to see if Bookly Pro suits your needs: https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/demo-list/
The time slot display depends on your staff members' schedules and service duration. So if your service is 2 hours, there is no option to divide the duration for different time intervals. You will need to reduce the service duration or you will need to manage such appointments manually via backend. So if someone books "Hair coloring" service, you will need to change the appointment in your WP admin panel. You can create 2 separate appointments with a 1-hour gap.

I had the exact same question and this is a very important feature that would need to be implemented.
In many booking scenarios, there IS the need to breakdown a service into multiple timeslots and stuff sessions as several staff members would work on the same client within a particular 'service' an 'time-slots'.
So, for instance, we also have a hair salon and if we create a main service called 'HAIR' with an overall service duration of 90 minutes, and the sub-services 'hair color appliance' [15 min] ' 'hair color removal & hair wash'' [15min] and 'haircut' [60min], multiple stuff members would work on that client for that particular main service 'HAIR'.
BUT if there are 'multiple clients in the salon at the same time', then there has to be the function to assign stuff to multiple sub-services within the main service [HAIR]. Because if that function is missing, then there is no way to utilize staff members within the main service time and they would be unable to multi task on several clients - which makes your bookly system highly inefficient from a business point of view.
A good example is to visit a hair salon and see how they work in terms of utilizing staff members to its fullest - so staff stays busy at all times. After the 'hair color' is applied and the customer has to wait, the staff member can attend another client for a different service etc. -- All in all, Bookly is missing a module for 'stuff member utilization and timing within a single service', or in other words, to 'break down main services into sub-services for staff members' - which has to also be clearly marked on the CALENDAR at the back-end !
In Summery:
We were thinking of purchasing a Bookly license - so is there a way to accommodate such feature from your end?
Thank you!
Reservation time slots can be incorporated into the service schedule.
