Booking on a Holiday Date
If I book a day in my company calendar as a holiday then a client tries to book that date, there is no notification that the day is unavailable. It simply changes the date to the following day (without informing the client) and prompts them to select an available time for that day. This could lead to confusion where the client thinks they're booking one day but they're actually booking the next day. Is there a way to address this when going through the booking procedure?

Hello,
Thank you for your message.
Not quite sure that understood you correctly. You can display the blocked time slots on your frontend calendar:

Hi there. I don’t want to show slots that are unavailable for each day. So when a date is booked as a holiday and the client chooses that day they should receive some kind of pop up or notification that says the day is unavailable. For example if I’m closed on Dec 25 and someone tries to book that day the calendar changes to the 26th but doesn’t inform the person of that change. If they aren’t astute they will not notice that subtle change. If they follow through with booking the wrong day and they pay with a credit card and I have to refund them then I will lose money due to processing fees. All I’m asking for is a notification to the user that the selected day isn’t available.
Hello,
Thank you for your message.
We see what you mean. But right now, there is no such option. You can leave your request here: https://ideas.booking-wp-plugin.com/boards/feature-requests and if it gets enough votes, it might be implemented in the future release.
Or you can hide this section not to confuse your customers:
