About the display of available slots (I would like to display only the slots before and after the ones that are already reserved)

We are an English school in Japan.
Our staff sends us shifts every two weeks.
I am wondering if the add-ons "staff-cabinet" and "special-day" would work for this.

Also, when displaying available slots, I would like to display only the slots before and after the ones that are already reserved. For example, if one slot is reserved at 14:00, then the displayed possible slots to choose from would be 13:00 or 15:00 (1-hour lessons). The goal is to reduce big gaps in the schedule. Is that possible? How much customization is possible?

Is it possible to send an email with a link to purchase when a student submits a reservation request and the teacher accepts it at "staff-cabinet"?
Or will a notification be sent to the manager handling the schedule that it's confirmed for a final check?

If the teacher's schedule doesn't work out, can it send an email to the student so that he/she can re-select only the days/times that don't work out?

  • Hello Yuya,

You can control this by configuring staff days off and holidays (Edit staff > Days Off tab).

For example, if one slot is reserved at 14:00, then the displayed possible slots to choose from would be 13:00 or 15:00 (1-hour lessons). The goal is to reduce big gaps in the schedule.

Currently, this is not supported. But you can enable an option of displaying only the nearest timeslot (Appearance > Time tab). Also, please check this article in our blog – How to Avoid Gaps Between Appointments.

Currently, this is not supported. Online payments can be processed only during the booking process via the booking form.

Yes, you can have appointments created in a pending status. Please refer to this link for more info: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212369629-Pending-Appointments

Yes, you can set up a notification template to be sent to the customer at the appointment status change (e.g., Cancelled or Rejected), asking them to reschedule their booking. Please read more here: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212411309-Customize-Notifications
