Is the correct plugin for my website?
Hello everyone,
I'm writing here because I have a questions. I'm new in the wp world and I started to use it because I have a website(developed by wp) for my Pharmacy and I want to add a plugin for book appointments.
In detail, I need to:
- Log in(by facebook or google) to make an appointment;
-Register customer consent for the GDPR and email marketing;
-Have a calendar synchronized with google;
- Upload files from my clients;
- Give the possibility to manage the consent to my customers.
I don't understand if I can do this with this plugin(and relative add-ons).
Someone have some suggestions?
Thank you :)

Hi Alberto,
Thanks for reaching out.
Please note that Bookly is designed to work with a weekly schedule. After you set up the staff member's schedule, this schedule will be repeated for the following weeks. Please note that the system takes into account the staff member's schedule when rendering available time slots in the front-end/booking.
So the availability offered in the booking form is based on the schedule of the staff member. Whereas, the interval of the slots offered is regulated with the time slot length as this is the basis of how the hours are divided and presented in the booking form.
The add-ons https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/features/ are intended to help give more flexibility to achieve desired features.
The Facebook Login: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002697334-Facebook-Login enables your customers to authorize on your website with their Facebook credentials. If the client chooses to log in with Facebook, form fields for their Name (or first and last name) at the Details step in a booking form will be filled automatically.
Please check if the Bookly Customer Cabinet Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005099314-Customer-Cabinet-Add-on will work for this requirement.
It lets you comply with the GDPR requirements by providing customers with a possibility to access, manage and delete their personal details and appointments list (view, update and delete their personal information, remove their customer profile, view appointments history, see all details of the appointment (date, time, employee, status, price, etc.), reschedule or cancel their bookings) in a user account.
However, if you mean that you want your customers to agree to terms or privacy settings, then please check if the Bookly Custom Fields Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003963514-Custom-Fields-add-on will work for this requirement.
It allows you to create the different types of questions that the clients would need to fill out before the booking confirmation and all these reservation details will be added to your Bookly Calendar and can also be added to the email notifications for both your staff members and customers.
So it can be added to the email notifications for both your staff members and customers by adding the {custom_fields} code to the email body. Note that the {custom_fields} code is only available for single notifications.
Please check this article: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/203572552-Google-Calendar-Sync for more information and instructions regarding Google Calendar sync.
Please check if the Bookly Files Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000373133-Attach-files-to-the-booking-form-Files-Add-on- will work for this requirement.
It allows your customers to upload files relating to the appointment right to the Bookly booking form so your clients will be asked to attach necessary files before the booking confirmation and all materials collected will be available in reservation details in the Bookly admin area.
The Bookly Files Add-on is a supplementary feature to Bookly Custom Fields Add-on: https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/features/various-types-custom-fields-booking-form/, hence, both need to be installed and activated.
If you mean by "Gives the possibility to manage the consent to my customers" is for the customers to be able to agree or accept terms and conditions prior to booking the appointment, then the Bookly Custom Fields Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003963514-Custom-Fields-add-on mentioned above will work for this requirement.
However, if I'm off-base, please clarify so I can check for you.
Please check our demos:
OR try the sandbox on a live website before purchasing to better understand how Bookly PRO and its add-ons work and be able to discern if Bookly products fit your business needs.
To access the sandbox mode, please go to https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/demo-list/ and add your email address and click on the "Configure" button then follow the rest of the steps that you'll receive on your mail.
I'd like to note please that Bookly Pro is the main plugin, hence, it needs to be installed and activated to be able to use Bookly add-ons since these add-ons are supplementary to the main Bookly Pro plugin.
If you require further assistance or have additional questions/clarifications about this, please send us an email to sales@bookly.info, so we can look into this matter for you.
Many thanks,
Richel
