Stripe Payments allows you to accept payments from your customers using the Stripe payment gateway for a small commission of 0.9% per transaction.
Note
- Stripe applies additional processing fees based on your account and region.
- Stripe Payments and the Bookly Stripe (Add-on) are different products with separate settings:
- Stripe Payments (Cloud) — Customers are redirected to the Stripe website to complete the payment.
- Bookly Stripe (Add-on) — Customers complete the payment directly within your booking form without redirection.
Setup
Before getting started, make sure you have an active Stripe account.
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Bookly Cloud.
- Click Get Started next to Stripe Payments.
- You will be redirected to the Stripe Connect page. Sign in to your Stripe account and click Connect my Stripe account.
- Once connected, go to Bookly > Settings > Payments.
- Enable the Stripe Cloud payment method.
Additional Settings
Custom metadata
Add extra information to your payments by using available shortcodes. This data will be sent to Stripe along with the payment.
Price correction
Adjust the total booking cost depending on the selected payment method.
Time interval of payment gateway
Set the time after which a payment is considered incomplete if not finished.
Note: This feature requires a configured cron job.
Refunds
Payments made via Stripe Cloud can be refunded directly from Bookly.
Open the payment details and click the Refund button.
