Synchronization settings

Go to Bookly → Settings → Apple Calendar and choose the synchronization mode that best suits your needs.

One-way sync

All new appointments created in Bookly, as well as any further updates, will appear in Apple Calendar.

Two-way sync

All updates made in Bookly will automatically sync to Apple Calendar.

Additionally, Bookly will treat time slots occupied by Apple Calendar events as unavailable for booking.

Note

Please note: events originally created in Apple Calendar are not automatically displayed in Bookly Calendar in real time. To import them manually, go to Bookly → Calendar and click the Apple Calendar button.

All events from the connected calendar will then be fetched into Bookly.

If you choose Two-way sync, you can define how many days of past appointments should be synchronized using the Sync appointments history field.

For example, entering 1 will sync appointments starting from yesterday.

The initial synchronization process may take some time depending on the number of events being synchronized.

The Limit number of fetched events option allows you to restrict the number of imported events. This helps prevent PHP memory issues when Bookly attempts to retrieve a large volume of events from Apple Calendar.

Display settings

Bookly also allows you to configure how booking information is displayed in Apple Calendar.

Use the event title template to define which details should appear in the Apple Calendar event title.

Use the event description template to insert appointment-related placeholders and display the required booking information in the event description.
