Important
All add-ons for Bookly require Bookly PRO installed and activated.
Bookly Mailchimp (Add-on) enables seamless integration between Bookly and your Mailchimp account. Once connected, your customer's contact information is automatically exported to your designated mailing list whenever an appointment is created through Bookly.
The exported fields include:
- Email address of the client
- Client's first name
- Client's last name
- Client's birthday
- Client's phone number
- Client's address
- Client's note
This integration streamlines your communication efforts and ensures that your Mailchimp mailing list remains updated with relevant customer details.
Setup and configuration
1. Purchase, download and activate the Bookly Mailchimp (Add-on) in Plugins.
2. Open the API Keys section of your Mailchimp account. Create an API Key by clicking on the Create New Key button. If you already have an API key, locate it in the list and copy it for later use.
Use it in the API Key field in Bookly Settings > Mailchimp.
3. In the Server field, enter the service prefix from your Mailchimp account URL. This prefix is typically like https://us19.admin.mailchimp.com/. The "us19" part is your server prefix.
4. Access your Mailchimp account and navigate to Audience > Settings > Audience name and defaults. Copy the Audience ID value from there and paste it into the Audience ID field in Bookly Mailchimp settings.
5. In Fields matching, enter the names of the fields in your Mailchimp audience settings that correspond to Bookly data. You can find these field names in your Mailchimp account under Audience settings > Audience fields and *|MERGE|* tags.
Update Mode: Choose whether you want to overwrite customer data in Mailchimp if the email address matches the existing one, or not.
Default Status: Determine the default status of a new contact according to Mailchimp statuses.
After configuring these settings, remember to click Save at the bottom of the page to apply the changes.
