Pre sales question before buying
Hello, bookly is awesome!
Before i'm asking some question, i'd like to let you know about our business process.
Our business model is to let people to pay first in advance for 2 kind of package, 1st is the 4 session meeting and the 2nd is the 8 session meeting. Both of this has only 30 days of life time. If they already passed the time and not using all of the meeting ticket, the ticket will be gone.
So, due to this business process, i have some questions:
1. If i already running a membership site that pay in advance, can we manage the book without payment anymore? Or can we manage this payment through the bookly but using woocommerce since our payment gateway is on the woocommerce?
2. Do we have anything like user credit/ wallet? So it'll limit a user to can only book using his current credit (4x session and 8x session) in a month.
3. If we're already running a site that let user login, do they need to login again in bookly? Can we integrate bookly with our current wordpress user?
4. This question is linked to the 3rd question, if they already login, are they still need to fill the personal information again? Our goal is to make our user doing the booking very easy without to much clicking here and there.
5. Can we set a limit time to make a reschedule? So if they want to reschedule 15 minute before the meeting started, they can't do it. They can only reschedule as long as they're not reaching the limit time.
6. Can we set a limited time for future booking?
We want our user to only make a future booking for a 30 days upfront. They can't book far more than that.
Thank you!

sorry to make a double post. I just got browser error.
Hi William,
Thanks for reaching out.
Bookly is designed to work with a weekly schedule. After you set up the staff member's schedule, this schedule will be repeated for the following weeks. Please note that the system takes into account the staff member's schedule when rendering available time slots in the front-end/booking.
So the availability offered in the booking form is based on the schedule of the staff member. Whereas the interval of the slots offered is regulated with the time slot length as this is the basis of how the hours are divided and presented in the booking form.
The add-ons https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/features/ are intended to help give more flexibility to achieve desired features.
Please check if the Bookly Packages Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003045634-Packages-Add-on will work with this requirement.
It allows you to offer package deals for your client’s favorite services as well as add an optional discount on packages.
So you will need to create a simple service for the price of the packages then your client will have to book their first appointment right away in the front-end booking form.
And then you assign the packages in the back-end so your customers can book the rest of the package services later as long as they’re booked within the set validity period.
Please note that the rest of the package services can only be set up in the back-end for now and customers cannot book these from the front-end yet.
So the workaround is to give the customers’ user account so when they’re logged in, they can see a list of purchased packages with expiration dates, details, and the ability to schedule the rest of the package services. Please check this article for online access to booking for clients: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212455529-Online-Access-to-Bookings-for-Clients.
Kindly note that the packages don't work and compatible with the following add-ons respectively yet.
1. You can assign the members the packages so they can just log in to their WordPress user accounts and schedule the appropriate sessions.
Regarding WooCommerce, please note that the purpose of the WooCommerce integration is to have access to other payment gateways that are not available in Bookly (but are supported by WooCommerce).
So if you enable this integration, customers will be redirected to a WooCommerce cart after the details step and payments from Bookly will be disabled, including the "Service paid locally" option. To set this integration, you'll need a "fake" product that will serve as a "bridge" between Bookly and WooCommerce.
Though, even if you use this integration you'll sell services from Bookly and not WooCommerce products. The price will be taken from Bookly and other attributes from WooCommerce will be ignored.
The booking process is maintained even with this integration, so you will still book the service by using the booking form and won't be selling the product from WooCoommerce (which we advise hiding in order to avoid having confused customers), so the customers will be redirected to a WooCommerce cart after the details step.
To hide the "fake" product that will serve as a "bridge" between Bookly and WooCommerce, you need to find (in the right part) the catalog visibility option and set it to hide: https://i.imgur.com/wyIQROe.png. Check out this article: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212413769-Payment-Options for more details.
2. With the Bookly Packages Add-on, you should be able to set the validity period of the packages.
3. You can import your customers' list to Bookly then assign them to their corresponding WordPress user accounts.
4. You can enable the 'Show Login button' in the Appearance section so your existing customers can then login into the Details step.
5. Rescheduling is currently available in the Bookly Customer Cabinet Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005099314-Customer-Cabinet-Add-on. This add-on lets you comply with the GDPR requirements by providing customers with a possibility to access, manage and delete their personal details and appointments list (view, update and delete their personal information, remove their customer profile, view appointments history, see all details of the appointment (date, time, employee, status, price, etc.), reschedule or cancel their bookings) in a user account.
6. The 'Number of days available for booking' in the Bookly > Settings > General section allows you to set how far in the future the clients can book appointments.
