Important
All add-ons for Bookly require Bookly PRO installed and activated.
With the Bookly Coupons (Add-on), you can offer your clients promotional codes to pay for the service at a reduced price. Your clients will be able to apply a coupon code at the payment step of the booking process. And you can create and manage discounts, as well as keep track of statistics directly in Bookly.
Watch this video tutorial to learn how to create and manage coupon codes with the Bookly Coupons (Add-on).
Setup and configuration
1. Purchase, download, install and activate Bookly Coupons (Add-on) in Plugins.
2. In Bookly > Appearance > Payment tab, make sure that the box next to the 'Show coupons' option is checked. All underlined texts are editable.
3. Create a new coupon in Bookly menu > Coupons section by clicking Add Coupon.
You'll find several fields to complete:
Code: A combination of letters and/or numbers that customers can input at the payment step of the booking process. Click Generate to automatically create a unique coupon code.
Discount %: A percentage off the entire order, for example, 10% off.
Deduction: A fixed amount deducted from the total, such as $10 off. These values can be used separately or together in one coupon.
If both are used, the total amount is calculated using the formula: Service Price - Discount (%) - Deduction.
From the drop-down list, select the services and service providers to which the coupon will apply.
Usage limit: This sets the maximum number of times the coupon can be used by all customers combined.
Once per customer: Enable this option to restrict the coupon's use to once per customer.
Date limit (from and to): Specify a period during which the coupon code can be applied, or set a specific expiry date. Note that this setting doesn't affect the dates of the actual appointments.
Limit appointments in cart: Set the minimum and maximum (optional) number of services of the same type required to apply the coupon. Leave these fields blank for no restrictions.
Limit to customers: This allows you to create coupons for specific clients.
Keep track of all promotional codes in the Coupons section and in Payments > Details.
To automatically include a coupon code that has been used during the booking in your email and/or SMS notifications, use the {coupon} code in your notification templates.
Note: Coupons created via Bookly won’t function if you are using WooCommerce.
When using both Bookly Coupons (Add-on) and Bookly Deposit Payments (Add-on), the deposit amount is deducted from the total price of the booking before a coupon code is applied. Therefore, coupons do not affect the deposit amount.
Note: Currently, it's not possible to apply multiple coupons in one booking.
