All add-ons for Bookly require Bookly PRO installed and activated.
With the Bookly Ratings (Add-on), your customers have the ability to rate the services they receive from your staff members.
Would you like to know whether your service providers meet clients' expectations? Collect customer feedback after each appointment, and you'll always be well-informed about the professionalism of your employees.
Setup and configuration
1. Purchase, download and activate the Bookly Ratings (Add-on) in Plugins.
2. In Settings > Ratings, enable the option for Displaying appointments rating in the backend.
3.In your WordPress Dashboard under Pages, create a dedicated page where customers will be redirected to rate the service after their appointment. Use the Add staff rating form button to insert the [bookly-staff-rating] shortcode onto the page.
Ensure that the 'Comment' option is checked to allow customers to leave feedback along with their ratings.
In the Gutenberg editor, the corresponding block is titled Bookly – Staff ratings. The 'Comment' option can be found on the right side of the editor interface.
Note
The staff rating form is visible on the page only when a customer is redirected to it via a URL containing the token. To test this, you must make an actual booking and wait for the real reminder (do not use a test notification).
Below is an example of how the rating form page appears:
4. Go to Bookly Settings > URL Settings. In the Rating page URL field, specify the URL of the page containing the rating form (the page created in step 3).
5. Navigate to the Email Notifications section. Choose the Follow-up message template or create a new one (type: Appointment reminder). Include the {staff_rating_url} code in the automated email notification. This code will generate a unique link for customers to rate the service and leave a comment.
6. To display a staff member's rating in a booking form, proceed to Appearance > Step by step form > 1. Service tab and select the option Show staff member rating before employee name.
An average staff rating is shown on the staff member's card when you click Edit.
The Services tab on the staff card displays the average service rating.
In the Appointments list, the Rating column displays appointment ratings. Additionally, if a customer has left a comment, you can click the rating to view the description.
