Extra Products & Treatments (Service Extras add-on)

The Service Extras add-on allows you to offer extra services, goods, or options to tweak the service (e.g. with more special and/or more expensive tools). You can purchase it here.

An extra purchased by a customer may affect the price and the length of the appointment, but cannot be provided separately from the main appointment booked by the customer.


User Experience

User experience of the booking won’t change much, as the focus of the booking is still on the main appointment. There will be a new step added to the booking process though: a new step #2.

Right after the customer has selected a necessary service, they will be offered to choose additional extras if available. Only after choosing (or not) extras, they will be asked to pick a time slot for the appointment.

New in Service Extras v1.2: extras can now be included into the order summary during the booking process. See how to set it up below or go straight to add-on update here.


1. Purchase the Service Extras add-on. Download, install and activate it as a new plugin.

2. In Bookly menu > Appearance, make sure that the box next to the 'Show Extras step' is checked.

3. In Services, open each of the services you’d like to add extras to, upload a simple image for each of the extras, determine their prices and, if necessary, duration.


4. You can choose when the Extras step will be displayed in your front-end booking form. Go to Settings > Service Extras > After Service step or After Time step.

For booked appointments, all extras a customer has booked along with the main service will be shown in the appointments list and in the appointment edit window #2 (the one you open by clicking on the user name).



If you use Cart Add-on, you can enable/disable the option of displaying booked extras in a Cart in Appearance > Cart step > Show extras.

Service Extras with Group Bookings

If you use Group Booking Add-on, you’ll see an additional setting for the quantity of extra items for group bookings in Bookly menu > Settings > Service Extras. Enable it if you want to multiply extras by number of persons.

    Is it possible to turn off "Multiple Selection" in extras so that the customer could choose only one out of available?

    Bookly Service Extras Not works!!!...I have this Version 1.0
    I just bought this plugin and it does not work, Can you give me the update version?
    The plugin ask me To update my version - enter the Purchase Code...but the code from envato it not works

    Bit disappointed with the Extras add-on:
    {total_price} shortcode will not show the added on price of extras selected, unless Payment (step 6) is enabled.
    This is in both email notifications and the calendar.

    {cart_info} shortcode can be substituted for the customer email, but it leaves everything else a bit vague.

    Thank you to Sergie for checking this out for me:
    "I have asked our developers about {total_price} shortcode and they explained to me that this shortcode does not take into account the extras price."

    Guess I'll have to buy the deposits add-on and require customers to make a deposit at the time of booking (not a bad thing anyway).

    Hi, in the booking form in the last step (Done)
    I wanted to display a summary of the booking. the service duration shows only the selected service duration and it does'nt show the total service duration after adding the extra services, which I found misleading to the customers.

    How can I display the total service duration after choosing extra in the final step of booking "Done"?
