Advanced Google Calendar Add-on

Important

All add-ons for Bookly require Bookly PRO installed and activated.

You can integrate Bookly with Google Calendar and choose one of three modes of synchronization.

The default configuration of Bookly PRO includes the following synchronization modes:

  • One-way sync
  • Two-way front-end only

Advanced Google Calendar (Add-on) enables you to get a full two-way synchronization between two calendars to keep all your Bookly calendar data and any further schedule updates in sync with Google Calendar. All bookings created or updated in Bookly Calendar will be automatically reflected in the Google Calendar, and vice versa.

Setup

1. Purchase, download and activate the Bookly Advanced Google Calendar (Add-on) in Plugins.

2. First, follow the instructions in this guide or in Settings > Google Calendar (admin area of your Bookly) to set up the connection between your Google Account and Bookly Calendar.

3. Before you select the synchronization type and click Save, you should implement "incremental synchronization", verify and register your domain. Please read carefully the instructions in this document.

Important

For two-way sync, your website must use HTTPS. Google Calendar API will be able to send notifications to HTTPS address only if there is a valid SSL certificate installed on your web server.

4. From the Synchronization mode drop-down, select Two-way sync. Click Save.

You can set up how the booking information will be displayed in Google Calendar.
