Please note that certain settings outlined below are accessible with Bookly Pro installed and activated. The free version of Bookly offers limited functionality.
These are a few essential company-wide settings that you'll need to configure before making the booking form available.
Settings > Company
Include company name, logo, and address for emails.
Settings > Appointments > Default appointment status
Set the default status for newly booked appointments.
Settings > General > Time slot length
Consider this as your standard time block: the entire 24-hour day will be divided into time slots with this specified length. All appointments will be scheduled based on these time slots.
For instance, if you set the time slot length to 15 minutes, clients will have the option to book appointments at 10:00, 10:15, 10:30, and so on, even for one-hour-long appointments. You can also set the time slot length for each service individually in the Services section.
Settings > General > Method to include Bookly JavaScript and CSS files on the page
All pages: Bookly JavaScript and CSS files will load on every frontend page of your website, regardless of whether there is a Bookly form or not.
Pages with Bookly form: Bookly JavaScript and CSS files will only load on pages where the Bookly form is present.
For users with numerous pages, it's recommended to use the "Pages with Bookly form" option. This ensures that pages without Bookly forms load faster, as Bookly scripts and CSS are not loaded on those pages. Please note that while this method enhances page loading, it may not be compatible with certain themes and page builders. Therefore, the default option is set to "All Pages".
Settings > Business Hours
These will serve as the default working days and hours applicable to all staff members and, consequently, all appointments. For specific hours assigned to each team member, please refer to Staff Members > Schedule.
Settings > Payments > Currency
This setting determines currency for the prices you configure in the Services section.
Settings > User Permissions
Here you define which WordPress roles have the authority to manage and administer Bookly.
Settings > Purchase Code
Paste the purchase code acquired from CodeCanyon upon purchasing the plugin into this field. This step ensures access to free updates and customer service support in case of any issues.
Diagnostics > Logs
System-generated logs keep a record of all actions related to appointments in Bookly, providing valuable information for the Bookly support team in case of unexpected issues with appointments.
